Fragrance here isn’t decorative. It isn’t something you wear to smell good. It’s something you step into.
The intention is to shift where you stand. Not to fix your mood or give you something easy to like, but to move you somewhere else entirely.
You feel it before you understand it. Like the ground changed slightly and you’re the only one who noticed.
If you’re looking for something obvious, this isn’t that.
Who This Is For?
The approach is closer to a chaos garden. Not arranged to make sense at first glance. Things overlap, push against each other, resolve in their own time. Because real harmony doesn’t come from control. It comes from tension.
This tends to land with people who don’t move in straight lines. Who care about how things feel, not just how they look. Who don’t need everything to be labeled or immediately understood.
Everything now is optimized, smoothed out, predictable. This offers a small interruption. A shift in texture. A break in pattern.
Not an escape. Just a way to step slightly outside of things for a moment.
About
Strange Harvest is an independent fragrance house working with scent as terrain shaped by a philosophy that fragrance should capture atmosphere and the emotional landscape of place. Everything is developed in-house, from material selection to final composition and object.
Each scent starts with a position. A specific place: dry, humid, sharp, or dense. Materials are introduced and adjusted until the space feels alive, slightly off-center, and hard to leave.
Nothing is there to decorate. If it doesn’t shift the environment, it’s removed.
All products are produced in small batches in Southern California.
What is the return policy?
Due to the small-batch nature of our production, all sales are final. We encourage you to read each product description carefully before purchasing, as we are unable to offer returns or exchanges.
When will I get my order?
All Strange Harvest fragrances and candles are produced in small batches in our studio. Many pieces are made to order and finished by hand.
Most orders ship within 2–4 weeks.
Are your fragrances safe?
All of our fragrances are IFRA-compliant. IFRA (the International Fragrance Regulatory Association) provides stringent guidelines to ensure that fragrances are formulated as safely as possible. It is not an FDA requirement to follow IFRA in the US, but we choose to. For more information on IFRA, click here.
Are your fragrances all natural?
Our formulas incorporate both natural and synthetic materials. We select ingredients for the character they contribute to a composition, prioritizing how effectively they express the concept of the scent.
Why do perfumes take longer to ship?
Because each perfume is blended in small batches, it is made and left to macerate before it leaves the studio. This allows the materials to fully integrate and settle into their intended form.
Please allow 4–6 weeks for perfume orders to arrive.
Each bottle is freshly prepared by hand using high-quality materials and complex compositions, so this time is an essential part of the process.
